Celtic Knot 3
Common Celtic dog designs feature a pair of hounds, intertwined in an elaborate knot pattern. Hounds were essential for Celtic hunting and herding. A wolfhound or a sighthound was a valued asset and companion and can symbolize hunting and healing. They were the traditional guardian animals of the roads and crossways.
Carved on Florida Cypress wood measuring approximately 24" x 18" x 7/8" and weighs about 8 lbs.
